Our Company
Estudio Faroppa is a family business that provides services and consulting for the forestry sector, management of agricultural and livestock farms, and agroindustrial and environmental consulting.
Founded by Agronomist Engineer Carlos Faroppa in 1984, the company began as a supplier of industrial and export wood.
Accompanying the expansion of forestry activity in Uruguay, forestry services and consulting services were incorporated, adapting to client needs and supporting them throughout all stages of their project with comprehensive advice.
The technical team has been diversified by adding qualified experts in various areas, such as digital cartography, surveying, forestry software, and related disciplines, such as environmental, legal, and social sciences.
This vast experience positioned the company internationally and it was chosen as a strategic consultant for several diverse projects, including: the Fray Bentos Pulp Mill, which at the time represented the largest private investment in the history of Uruguay (Botnia - Finland), the most modern industrial pine sawmill in South and Central America, and the Frutifor Lumber Company (Chilean capital).
Managed forest assets exceed 250,000 hectares distributed throughout the country.
